Male Sex Drive
"I'm losing my Sex Drive..."
My Question: I'm divorced and in my later 40's. I find my sex drive is absent. I seem to have difficulty keeping an erection. I get excited, but soon lose it. Is this something you have knowledge of resolving? I am afraid of sexual situations right now.
Shanti's Response:
The first step is to consult a medical doctor and rule out any physical problems such as low testosterone and prostate issues.
Men in their 40's (actually, at any age!) need to be extremely mindful of their diet and consumption of alcohol/drugs. Hormones that were abundant during the teens and twenties, begin a normal depletion process in the 30's and beyond. In addition, stress, smoking and other factors will cause the body's chemistry to become imbalanced over time. Proper diet which eliminates caffeine and alcohol and which contains lots of raw vegetables, fiber and fruits, will begin to repair some of the damage caused by excess consumption of toxic foods and chemicals. Grape seed extract is an excellent supplement to help rid the body of free radicals.
Exercises such as yoga or tai chi, will help restore balance to the mind and body physically, energetically and spiritually. There are specific exercises in yoga that will begin to heal impotence or sexual imbalance through a very natural, gentle stretch and twist of the muscular and skeletal systems. If you are interested in the specific postures, I can refer you to a certified Yoga instructor for coaching.
Male Power is a natural supplement that contains extremely beneficial herbs and vitamins for the male sexual system. Vitamin B12 is one of the primary ingredients in this product. B12 is used in the treatment of impotency and other sexual problems. Male Power can be ordered online through HealthCare21.com, or some of the other online Herb Shops listed on this site, at a relatively low cost. Almost everyone I have referred to use this product has had satisfactory results. You can use it daily as supplement with your other vitamins and herbs, or you can take it prior to lovemaking, It increases stamina noticeably and supports a firmer erection.
